Im considering returning my (unopened) vita

Ill need your input on this as im really on the fence. my girlfriend bought me the white AC3L bundle for xmas/bday a few weeks ago, in which it cant be opened till then. i cant wait to open it and get my hands on it, but im considering returning it to gamestop as i have 30 days to return it. ive considered doing so for a variety of reasons. for one, the vitas sold around 3 million units worldwide. so currently its not a hot item exactly. understandibly, it hasnt seen its first holiday season yet. i would like to be an owner when its hot, not when its cold. secondly, the main reasons i wanted the vita is mainly Killzone Mercenary, with an honorable mention of Uncharted, LBP, Resistance Burning Skies, Blops Declassified and AC3L (which came in the bundle). the thing is, KZ:M doesnt come out till 2013, although we are almost there, theres no exact release date yet. so we could be looking at late 2013. by then, all those games i listed above will have a much lower price tag saving me money. also, the vita may receive a price cut by then. again saving me money. and im hoping sony will bundle KZ:M with the vita and a 4gb memory stick like theyve been doing with previous bundles. that i will not be able to resist. so i think next year is the opportune time for me to own a vita. i may still hold on to mine though, but i need your inputs as like i said im on the fence about it. so what do you think, keep it now, or pick up one next year?

Dude, you also started a topic here: http://forums.n4g.com/tm....63&mpage=1#1095363 Why your gf should get you one or not. Get the info from there and decide yourself. It seems you just open new topics to get attention, or maybe you're a mod in disguise to keep the forums going opening new threads or something?

My fanboy sensors haven't been going off this much since Rage tried to stealth troll in the Halo 4 IGN review thread. If you're standards have fallen low enough for you to be excited for a portable video game, then you're in. Keep it. Get someone else to buy you a memory card though. Don't even bother looking at those prices if you're considering returning it.

Your mom spent good money on that gift for you. It would be rude to return it.

And the deal just got better with PS+ getting its PSVita Instant Game Collection http://blog.us.playstatio...xt-week-take-the-tour/ "As Ray mentioned, PS Plus will offer exclusive discounts and bonus features for both PS Vita and PlayStation 3members. In addition to online storage for game saves, automatic updates and Trophy synching, PS Plus members will get access to the Instant Game Collection, a constantly updated library selection of games, starting when the PlayStation Store updates on Tuesday, November 20th. Once you update your PS Vita to v2.00 and PS Store publishes next Tuesday, PS Plus members will be able to download the Instant Game Collection, which includes PS Vita games Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Jet Set Radio HD, WipEout 2048, Gravity Rush and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!, as well as (PSP) PlayStation Portable hit Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions." If one doesn't have PS+ yet, it is the time to get it when one owns both a PS3 and PSVita! In December new games added for both systems too. Probably Escape Plan, games like Rayman Origins that are good but didn't sell a lot are candidates too.

If you don't see anything that you like right now, then return it. If you do, then keep it. Damn when did people get to the point where they cannot even decide to keep the products they purchase or not?

A problem shared is a problem halfed apparently, if you could call it a problem to begin with. I say burn it at the stake or beat it with a stick.

You say buying this and that and waiting for this and that etc etc.. will save your money but have you realised that you just got it as a gift which means for FREE!! You don't have to spend money for the handheld you wanted.. Sony is most likely going to cut Vita's price in mid 2013 and I pretty much think KZ:M will get a early 2013 release.. There are very good games and apps out now for Vita which will keep you busy untill Killzone.. But at the end it's all your choice.. You want to keep it or not, it's all upto you. Honestly, returning the Vita would be a jacka** move IMO!
