Unfair reports and article fails

I've been using N4G for a while now but I'm finding reoccurring issues with BS reports. Why is it fair to judge one article on a specific set of rules and another on a different set entirely? Perfect example: Our recently DECLINDED Black Ops II Guide: Articles posted AFTER mine and accepted: What gives? Why does this happen on a regular basis? Seriously, it's getting to the point where I'm starting to feel singled out.

Can't post the links but there are at least 3 articles 100% posted after ours. This has happened so many times in the past I've lost count.
