Can i play European PSN vita games while using my US account? - Wednesday, November 14, 2012 3:00 PM ( #1 )
Hey Guys!
i want to buy a vita but there is something that i'm worried about, is that my main account with all my trophies and friends is a US account but i live in Europe region.
so can the vita play downloaded games from the UK store and work while using my US account?
P.S i know that i can only use one account in 1 memory card.

Thanks!

Why so many questions about PSVita from new members that make new threads and have their first post... SO many new PSVita users suddenly or something?

You could have googled this already. PS3 can have multiple PSN accounts, PSVita can't (or Sony must change it with a firmware update in the future).

So no, you either gotta chose to use an UK account or US account too bad.

You could try that, not sure if that would work. As the downloaded content is 'signed' with the specific PSN account and that account is known on the PS3, but not on the PSVita.

So don't think that is gonna work, but I'd say, try it out ;-)

I'm pickin' one up next week for PS+ games. The PS vita is limited to one account per memory card. IGN did a video to explain... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DWsKE6tStQ

PS+ for PSVita is a no brainer at this moment, and when you got a PS3 aside that PSVita even more... Paying the same money for XBL now really seems retarded. Well I guess when one is a diehard Halo online fan it is logical.

I am thinking of getting a Vita too, pns+ sure does make it easy to decide on getting one now!
I haz question though, how will we know which games will be given free with pns+ in the future? So I know what games not to buy. Thanks.

This is at least how it is on the PS3, but there one can have multiple accounts and purchase DLC for its version with prepaid PSN cards in Euro or USD.

I've not tried such stuff on the PSVita yet, but if that is region locked to the game too, then one has a problem as the PSVita can only use one PSN account at the same time of a certain region. One can change it, but it needs complete new installation, which is a hassle to switch if it would be needed.
