Characters that make an instant impact

When seeing a new character for the first time, which characters do you think have made an instant impact? Be it on you as a player or on the story of a game. Maybe it's through a cutscene or just by their unique appearance . . . Vega from Street Fighter 2: Playing him for the first time was a shock to the system. He was unpredictable, quick, had mad range and when he climbed the cage and dropped on you . . . o_o O_O O_O Grey fox from MGS: Now this is how you make an intro in a game. Butchering a bunch of guards in a corridor while doing it invisible, a unique and unnerving voice, a desperate need for a fight to the death with snake and dat suit. Yoshi: Seeing Yoshi hatch out of an egg and using him for the first time in Super Mario World was awesome. Bolo Santosi from Just Cause 2: Dat voice

Nice intro to him - Xenogears - Metal face Cool early character death scene from this guy Parasite eve - Eve Lighting people on Fire via her mind, very nice. C&C - Kane One bad*** mofo Yummy Good intro to them Father Griggory = Half life 2. This guy helps you through Ravenholm, and gives you one of the best shotguns in gaming.

Shepard and Alistair are the best characters this gen. And both in games made by Bioware.

FatOldMan redDevil87 Grey fox from MGS: Now this is how you make an intro in a game. Butchering a bunch of guards in a corridor while doing it invisible, a unique and unnerving voice, a desperate need for a fight to the death with snake and dat suit. That wasn't his intro. You know what i mean . . . Reptile from MK 1 made an instant impact. When you were fighting he would randomly interrupt your fight boasting about how great he was. I don't think that had ever happened in a fighting game before. On top of that he was a secret boss fight and an unlockable player. He might have been the first secret playable character from a fighting game to exist, not sure though.

Victor "Godd*mn" Sulivan. Of many newly established characters this gen, this guy gave me that feel .I was disappointed how there was so little him in UC2 but 3 fixed that

KEVERS This^ kinda funny, I saw an interview with John's voice actor and he has barely played the game. Too bad, he is missing out on the amazing work he has done.
