Black Ops:Declassified (PSVita) Review Killstreaks... - Saturday, November 17, 2012 9:08 AM ( #1 )

What the **** just happened?
This was supposed to be a system seller and a reason to boost vita's sales...

Mind boggling isn't it, the same quality they're used to but lower score. It's almost as if they've been rolling dice for COD reviews and finally stopped getting sevens.

Only COD4 was really fun dude, the rest was rubbish basically.

It just seems that the reviewers get all their frustration out on this version. It'll still move systems though, COD players aren't into quality.

Reviewers weren't obligated to give this game a high score so they just gave low scores.

Ironically all complaints about this version can be very easily applied to the console counterparts ...

Dunno if you saw it, but remember my blog post about reviews? You'd understand it there.

I'm surprised people were actually expecting that.
You have:
- Activision as publisher, known for not really giving much care to the idea of quality control
- Nihilistic as developer, known for mediocre games
- Short development cycle on a game releasing for a relatively new platform.

You'd need a miracle for the game turn out to be any good.

average would be even worse if it weren't for that 5/10 from that unknown website.

But honestly, this game looked bad from the very beginning. Activision didn't even want to make the game, it was Sony that begged them for it. But I think at the end this game will do more damage than good to the Vita.

I honestly can't believe anybody even expected this to be any good. Everybody knows handheld versions of games are always extremely watered down. Now add that to the fact that this is a CoD game for a handheld.....

And yet gamers are going to continue to give Activision half a billion dollars every year (first day sales).

Truly disgusting.
