Worst Type of Fanboys

This gen unlike the others stood out for all the wrong reasons, among which is the increased number of blind fanboys, so my question to you is which fanboys are the worst, PC ones, Xbox ones, Sony ones, or Nintendo ones. I would say that Nintendo has the most loyal fanbase, yet the most blind, and annoying ones

Each console had their reign during the fanboy war. Nintendo has some loyal fans but I never have really seen that many fanboys. I have never seen a guy on a gaming forum and all he had was a wii... 

N4G has a lot of ps3 fanboys so the preception is skewed of all the fanboys on the net. 

The worst fanboys are Apple fanboys.

If we're talking exclusively in the console market then I would consider myself a nintendo fanboy although I've ownly owned a Wii a few months I've had every other system
but in the early 2000s I switched to PC and pretty much abandoned all consoles.


Now I own a 3DS and PC, and that's all I really want.

I'll have to agree with the apple fanboys.   Terribly retarded. 

As for gaming, probably PS3. I don't really know any gaming fan boys in real life but on here the PS3 fan boys are obnoxious. 

the reason we call them fanboys is because they all are equally annoying. What changes is the amount of fanboys and this site has Sony fanboys everywhere so it would be easy to think that they are the worst while you're on this site but IGN is full of Xbox fanboys and Gamespot is mostly PC fanboys. But I do agree that Nintendo has the most loyal ones but at least they are not many.

Overall I'd say Apple Fanboys are the worst type, and for gaming I would have to go with Xbox fanboys only because they came right out and started to attack Sony even before the PS3 came out, their console was the best no matter what.  That's not to say that Sony fanboys haven't been bad. They initially started out vicious due to the year+ of the crap Xbox fanboys have been saying and were just making up for lost time.

But then again, this is a loaded question because people will just choose their fanboy rival, as we are seeing right now.

Go back under you're bridge until another impressive PC game that you can hang over our heads is released! Phew, glad that's out of my system. And Apple simply for the fact that if it doesn't have a half eaten fruit on the back it isn't "hip".

Exactly. We know our consoles are outdated, but not everyone wants to (or can) go out and buy/ build a PC. I'm not saying PC's aren't better, just that PC fanboys need to shut up about it.

Well I was a Sony Fanboy once.. and I can tell you I'll never live that down.

So from personal experience, I'll say Sony Fanboys.

360 fanboys definitely, but mostly this gen.  I've honestly never seen a fanbase so happily open to get shamelessly @ss raped by a company, and on top of it, go out of their way to defend it.  By far the saddest corporate apologists this gen had to offer.

Now that I think of it, Apple fanboys might be worse in that aspect.  In gaming though? 360 fanboys take all cakes.

This really isn't even a question. There's only one group who worship a company that hasn't made a major change to their controller in almost 20 years and have brainwashed their fanbase into think their business personally cares for them. I remember N4G in '07-'08, when most PS3 fanboys didn't even own a PS3, they were sitting on their PS2's until a price drop and still they would defend the PS3 to the death.

SONY fanboys are the worst. See the N4G Forums, specifically IGN's Halo 4 review for examples. And of course, the epitome would be when FFXIII was announced for the Xbox 360.





SONY fanboys are the worst, but also the best. So, so, so many laughs.
