imho sleeping dogs is more fun but gta 4 ce offers more value and content

I can't speak for Sleeping Dogs, but GTA IV + DLC packs for $20 is a stupidly good deal. You'll be playing the singleplayer for months. I think I spent a total of $100 buying all that first day.
How quick does SONY want to forget about the PS3?

Wow better deal than what I was looking at. Reminds me of Oblivion 5th Anniversary edition for $15. Can't go wrong.

I'd go w/ Sleeping Dogs.
I picked up the whollee GTA collection (all GTAs) for 15$ on steam. I'd wait for that and go w/ sleeping dogs IF you are into PC gaming.
Otherwise, I'd go w/ Sleeping Dogs still. I prefer beat 'em games over shoot shoot shoot. Hear it's a nice change of pace in open world games

I think Sleeping Dogs is a better game. The gameplay is more fun even if the production values are not as good. You just gotta try the demos and see what you like more.
