These spec for the durango sound like the genuine final specs. www.vgleaks.com/world-exclusive-durango-unveiled-2/

Its interesting what MS has done with the gpu they have put in a slowish gpu but by the looks of it they have pit in a special decription chip for highly compressed texture streaming and a physics chip too, so that will take alot of the load off the gpu.
If you got 4 to 6 cpu cores to do the lighting for instance and compressed massive textures to the ram and had the decription chip on the gpu, bandwidth from the memory should be less of a problem as it could decript comeing from mem and reencript it goin back to mem
An eye for an eye will make the whole world go blind

More rumours of the PS4's final specs, pretty much reitirating what has been said before:

This is apparently the latest Dev Kit, which will be close to the final retail product:

CPU: 8-core Jaguar
GPU: Liverpool
GPU RAM: unified 8 GB for devkit (4 GB for the retail console)
Subsystem: HDD,
Network Controller, BD Drive, Bluetooth Controller, WLAN and HDMI (up to 1980×1080@3D)
Analog Outputs: Audio, Composite Video
Connection to Host: USB 3.0 (targeting over 200 MB/s)
ORBIS Dualshock
Dual Camera

To me these specs mean only one thing . . .

I don't understand sh*t.

If the duel camera is true, it might be a new PS Eye to compete with Kinect.

Still not sure what duel camera would be used for, 3D? One camera to focus on the player, the second for the environment.

OR

Maybe it's going to be used for tracking movrment the "new" controller.

Creator of FXAA gives his 2 cents on the power of the next Playstation and Xbox consoles

http://gimmegimmegames.com/2013/01/creator-of-fxaa-gives-his-2-cents-on-the-power-of-the-next-playstation-and-xbox-consoles/

On 720 rumoured specs:

“On this platform I’d be concerned with memory bandwidth. Only DDR3 for system/GPU memory pared with 32MB of “ESRAM” sounds troubling. 32MB of ESRAM is only really enough to do forward shading with MSAA using only 32-bits/pixel color with 2xMSAA at 1080p or 4xMSAA at 720p. Anything else to ESRAM would require tiling and resolves like on the Xbox360 (which would likely be a DMA copy on 720) or attempting to use the slow DDR3 as a render target.

I’d bet most titles attempting deferred shading will be stuck at 720p with only poor post process AA (like FXAA). If this GPU is pre-GCN with a serious performance gap to PS4, then this next Xbox will act like a boat anchor, dragging down the min-spec target for cross-platform next-generation games.”

On PS4 rumoured specs:

“If PS4 has a real-time OS, with a libGCM style low level access to the GPU, then the PS4 1st party games will be years ahead of the PC simply because it opens up what is possible on the GPU. Note this won’t happen right away on launch, but once developers tool up for the platform, this will be the case.

As a PC guy who knows hardware to the metal, I spend most of my days in frustration knowing damn well what I could do with the hardware, but what I cannot do because Microsoft and IHVs wont provide low-level GPU access in PC APIs. One simple example, drawcalls on PC have easily 10x to 100x the overhead of a console with a libGCM style API.”

Rage doesn't even know what something means and he'll post reactions like that to it. Someone say something technically complicated that seems like it's positive for Sony but in reality means Rage will get anally ravaged by monster wangs.

"When Sony unveils its new PlayStation device this week, it will be far cheaper than many experts had expected — a price tag that, it is hoped, will lure millions of customers into buying its latest video games console.

Industry sources and leaked internal documents suggest that Sony is considering pricing the new device at about £300, more than £100 cheaper than the starting cost of its predecessor, the PlayStation 3."

I can't see it being £300. That would be cheaper then the WiiU at launch. I still think it's going to be at around £325-350, the £300 i could see as a very basic model. I'd be surprised if they reveal the price on Wednesday and not at E3.
