Where would you live? - Tuesday, December 04, 2012 2:03 PM ( #1 )
Country:

Small Town:

Modern Suburbs:

City:

I like to the foreseeable future like to remain near or in the city. That might change in the future but I'd hate to live in the cookie cutter type suburbs posted... When in Toronto I lived in a older suburb so it isnt as bland as that.

It's my dream to live in a suburb like that. So organized and neat.

Small town. Like the ones I've lived in my entire life.

Right outside of City. Suburbs are the very problem with modern society. Small towns are boring, Country you're out in the middle of nowhere with all the axe murderers and city is too busy. I don't mind living in the city however, I used to stay up at night listening to the cars and sirens bounce back and forth off of buildings and finally make its way into my window.

1) I already make a daily commute
2) If you find the right spot a daily commute isn't that bad/long
3) living in suburbs I'd have to commute to work anyway. My dad does. It's not like I can live at the job

Personally I'd like to try everything for a little bit.  I live in a mix between the burbs and the country, even though I'm right oustide of D.C.  I'd love to have a mountain house for a bit, then move to a penthouse apartment in DC or NYC for a bit, and then retire on the beach in Key West.

This is all assuming I get f*cking rich off of the lottery though.

I live in the city... which WAS not the PLAN.... plan was a small hobby farm... enough to have a huge ass garden, A barn for my fishing boat and other hobbies...

and so on... that dream is all dead dead deadski...

I grew up in a suburb town of a medium sized city (Windsor, strangely enough), then moved into a suburban part of Oshawa for school.

I'd like to live in a big city (for a few years at least) like Toronto or Vancouver. I like the hustle and bustle.

The one thing about not living in a big city, if you don't drive you're pretty much ****ed lol. Cant afford a car since Im going to school here and it's a pain getting around. It would be better for me to bike everywhere (which I have to do) than take the bus since they come like once an hour...

I will never bitch about the TTC (toronto's public transportation service) again but once school is done depending how far work is I'll buy a car.

I like where I live but at the same time I don't. Is a small island surrounded by water and it's great for me as a surfer because there are beaches everywhere very close. But at the same time I really don't like the people of Puerto Rico... And not to mention the insanely high rate of crime.

Just this week more than 15 people has been assaulted, killed and even burned in their own car alive! Puertorricans are sick in the head I tell you, and I mean everybody. But I'm very resistant to change so it'll be hard for me to ever move out to another place.

I don't think I would be able to live in a city and much less in the country side... The good thing bout PR is that because it's small it's like a combination of all at the same time. You have the country side, San Juan, the beach all really close so you don't feel left out for living in certain kind of place. You like the peaceful country but then you feel like hanging out then in less than an hour you can go to San Juan or to the beach or to the biggest Mall in all the Caribbean, Plaza Las Americas. But the stupid people and crime ruins all of this! PR could be a really amazing place to live in if it weren't for that.

Seriously, we need a Batman.

For me, city.

I would like to see a sitcom set in a city where smokey, kon and MD are flat mates.

I would like to see a sitcom set in a city where smokey, kon and MD are flat mates.

Their daily routine would pretty much go like this:

Kon, a sexually frustrated child, attempts to make a move on the resident hottie: MD. MD strings Kon along and asks for free video game gifts. Smokey gets irritated by these sexual shenanigans and tries to get both Kon and MD banned from the residents. The constant war of words between the three while trying to get what they want.

BAM! There you go, now someone go out there and make it.

Yeah, but you live in Toronto. I would live there in a heartbeat. I live in the suburbs now because we have things ass backwards in our country.
