What Can Sony Do To Sell Exclusives?

this year sony released starhawk,littlebigplanet karting and playstation all-stars all of them got ok scores but they did not sell that well, why do you think sony exclusives fail to sell? what can sony do?

In reality, if Sony wants to sell exclusives it needs to advertise at the levels of Microsoft and Nintendo. For those two companies I see ads on air all the time. For sony, I'll see something for Madden of Fifa, occasionally one of their exclusives, and then nothing.

They put about zero effort into advertising their games so I'd start there.

Give them away with grilled cheese sandwiches.B!tches loooove grilled cheese.

I think the Big N has advertising down to an art really. 
I've said this somewhere in the forums before; although this doesnt happen anymore because I don't see that sony ad anymore

Everytime that Sony 3D TV + PS3 ad comes up, yes the one that ends with "once you go 3D you never go back"
a 3DS ad is the next one after it, I don't know if this is intentional but damn is it funny.

+ What's made Nintendo so successful in marketing is...well...people know mario and pokemon they see them everywhere from parodies to **** ****ing kid shows even Sega has Sonic
 big N knows it's target Sony doesn't only time I see Sony Ads is when I'm on Spike or Syfy and it's always that Vita black ops thing

Sony  need more memorable characters in their ADs instead of Bald Stoic Muscular Man  I can guarantee you you wont guess which character this is and that's the problem

Some good advertisements is literally all it takes. Good advertising can sell **** games. For example, this sold gears to the casuals: http://www.youtube.com/wa...hl=en-GB&v=ccWrbGEFgI8 ....

Advertise more, but then again most people who aren't aware of release dates are the casuals, and Nintendo got them hooked, when I think of it, I can't seem to remember whether during the PS2 days, Sony advertised all of their releases, or just the big name ones like they are currently doing.

They probably want the PS3 to go with a bang, price drop and high calibre exclusives should do the trick, I would have loved it if they released GOW this fall thu, would have probably saved me from getting the abomination that is AC3

I think 2012 is the first year since 2007 that the 360 had better exclusives than the PS3. Journey is the one and only PS3 exclusive I wanted to play this year.
