PS Vita is still pretty early in its life cycle, so a price drop is defo coming, might want to wait. Since you are a PS3 gamer, 2013 is shaping up to be good, and busy, if you really (REALLY !) want to play Halo 4, then get the Xbox, if not then save the money for the games coming up in 2013.

Skyrim can keep you busy for hundred of hours, also experience will be much better than that on the PS3, if you want get the Xbox, and get the Bethesda developed games, and the early Xbox exclusives, like The Last Odyssey, but be warned, you will need plenty of time to finish all the games, before 2013 takes its toll

It really depends how bad you want to play the 360 exclusives. I had a 360 for awhile but it was one of the worst purchases Ive made. Sold that as soon as I could. Their exclusives weren't that great for me, it would have been used more if I never owned a ps3 or pc.

If you plan on playing most of your games online on the 360 then it'll be worth it. It all depends on how much you like to play online and their exclusives.

What he said. :)

Bad purchase on my part which led to me selling it about 3 months later, strangely Halo 3 is the only game that made me hold onto my Xbox 360 a little longer than I had planned.

I will say though the switch to an Xbox pad after using a PS3 pad for a while is horrendous and will take a bit of getting used to. I'm sure the same can be said of Xbox to PS3 though.

Yeah...I routinely hear about something similar, when Xbox 360 users use a PS3 for the first time. The interface and general layout of the PS3 not being consumer-friendly. Not to mention to updates that take forever and awkward controller.

If you game on PS3 I don't see much reason for you to get an Xbox 360. If you have friends, there's a good chance that Halo 4 will dominate most of 2013 despite buying up all the other great games next year. But because you primarily game on PS3 I'm assuming you're more of a singleplayer guy?

And I've been seeing these 360 deals. I can see it being hard to say no.

That makes no sense to me. Is the 360 the only console you ever played?

I am a huge 360 fan and I say save your money for the new consoles coming next year.

Damn, I'd even be tempted to buy that and I don't really care for the Xbox 360. It doesn't seem so overpriced since it comes with some good games and a year of Live. I'm guessing the catch is that it's only the 4 GB model, so you might need to buy a bigger hard drive.

If you have plenty of money then go for it. If not, save your money for PS3 games, a PS Vita after the price drops and a next gen console.

If it's a 4GB model with Halo 4 they're setting you up, there's an install process just like Halo Reach requiring you to either get a bigger hard drive or buy a flash drive or configure an existing one.

I would say get the 360 since it has a large library of cheap games, but I don't like the idea of the lack of storage.

Halo 4 is probably not worth it. I have a friend that sold his PS3 on November to buy an Xbox for Halo 4 and then a few weeks later after beating the campaign the idiot went back and traded in his Xbox to buy a PS3 again.  XD

That's a great deal, my thinking is you can wait till the Vita is either cheaper or has a bigger library of games. With the 360 you can take fifty, sixty bucks and get a bunch of really good games.
