Black Ops 2 on ps3?

Is this game fixed for ps3? I'm wondering whether I should buy it for 360 or ps3. I have more friends on ps3, but the 360 version apparently runs and looks better, and I've heard during the launch, that the ps3 version was just as terrible as the first black ops ps3 launch was. Is that still the case, or have the patches actually fixed things this time around? Also, visually, would you say it's a noticeable difference between the two versions? Black Ops 1 looked pretty bad on ps3, worse than mw2 and mw3, is it finally to the point where it's hard to tell the difference between them, or is it still noticeable this time? I'd feel a lot more comfortable playing this on ps3, but if the 360 version is significantly better than the ps3 version (graphically, performance wise, connection wise), I think I'll just go for the 360 one. Thoughts?

I borrowed my nephews copy on the PS3 and it played fine for me.
