Did anyone else fin Sony's "Happy Holidays" email rather teasing?

if you havent looked at it, it says happy holidays with an image. the image is whats teasing. it contains a few playstation icons such as kratos, sly, sackboy, ratchet and jak. yes, jak. that surprised me having jak in the image. why would sony "remind" us so to say of an icon that hasnt seen a new game since 2009 or at all this gen? unless jak isnt an old icon, but once again new... maybe hes just in that image because he was in ASBR and PS Move Heroes, but i dont think those titles merit him to be in the image. i think sony may possibly be reminding us about jak because maybe they have something in the works. i dont mean to cause unnecessary hype, but i found it really odd to bring back an old icon like that, thus i think it may be teasing a new jak game (omg hopefully!). if you havent looked at the email check your inboxes. what do you guys think about the image? do you think sony could possibly be teasing a new jak game? or am i just a die hard jak fan trying to find any possible evidence of something new in the saga?

Battle Royale plug, nothing more.

all those characters are in battle royale? there was also a helghast in the image. i wasnt aware the higs were in battle royale unless its not? i dont know i dont play fighters. if the helghast isnt in battle royale than i still think it may be a teaser 

EDIT: ok i looked at the characters list for battle royale. colonel radec is a character, however the helghast in the image is just a standard helghast soldier. i think if it was intended to be a battle royale plug, it would have radec in the image, not just a standard soldier.

I believe they are. I don't own a PS3 anymore. I think you are reading too much into it.

Well I think for PS3 they used Ratchet to push out there line up in the beginning and I think for the ps4 we will see Jak and Daxter...


for me... I love them both ... they are similar this is true..  But ratchet and clank play excellent and are funny... Were Jak and Daxter are super funny and gameplay is good...

There is also a Jak trilogy remake out for PS3, although not a new game...
