Hottest Of The Day

Hey guys, Just wondering. What influences the "Hottest of the Day" section outside of the heat itself? I only ask as an article at 270 degrees was removed from the hottest section, with older and less hotter articles put in its place. Any information would be great, Thanks.

Google Drupal radioactivity module. Purely on original hits, nothing else.

Have proved it, call it as you will. Can get any article to the top of the front page and can prove it again.

Newsman In three hours I can get an article above 250, the rest takes care of itself That explains why PSLS articles show up all the time in the "Hottest of the Day" section. I don’t think n4g will do anything tho because they both are working under Crave Online now.
