Far Cry 3 freezing issues

Just want to know if I am not alone on this but Far Cry 3 freezes a lot during the map editor. I contacted Ubisoft about it and all they sent back was an email saying if you are still experiencing problems please put your name...... and also did the solution help. Well of course the solution didn't help as it wasn't a solution  

I'm assuming you want a fix. I haven't had any issues. Though, to be quite fair, consoles (especially the PS3) are notorious for having buggy, broken open-world games. It's either lack of attention/dedication from devs or just aging hardware. Anyway, your situation sucks and I'm hoping I don't end up like you, lol.

mmm ok ok the problem is you got the worst most inferior port, this will be fixed if you get the pc version.

Probably running out of memory. Not much you can do.

It's to be expected when you buy 3rd party games on PS3. Sounds trollish, but that is unfortunately, painfully true.

This is obviously a software related issue, which Ubisoft needs to handle, I wish I can help you more man, but try contacting Ubisoft again, as this seems to be affecting lots of people.

i have no cam or no rocks i look down and i see my bow...lol this game is broken 4weeks email them and they said they are working on a patch...i know PC has a fix..some of the people still have problems but maybe we get a patch when the dlc hits when ever that is

yeah no fix bro im so piss the game i havent put it in i just go to the forums and see if there was a fix no word...but PS3 and then i get bored and put in hitman and that messed my HDD up lol go to the forums and that game has issues..im going to wait to buy games lol not day 1 buys lol


ubisoft doesnt answer my emails or my calls lol...Far Cry support said "before the hoilday season" then they said soon after....i put in like 20hours of mission and outpost and other stuff i dont really want to do that again...but i lost my cam before the mission when u need it so i cant even finish it..unless i redo the game...but i will piss me off 79% of the game is done overall that i did..and the glitch can happen when u die,play a game, when you do the windsuit or random does it on it own lol

Delete your game data in game data utility for your Farcry 3 ps3 then redownload all by going into game after data off of the disc install completes press square for ps3 store (blue store not new version) go to tab on end says downloads you have downloaded on blue tab download each dlc etc for farcry 3 and uplay access then you will be back where you started shouldnt freeze this fix worked for me

Yeah, that will probably happen, especially if you're adding a lot of stuff in while using the map editor. The map editor requires a lot of power to run. On a console you will probably experience a lot more lag and freezes than you would on a powerful PC.
