how to delete a dupe story?

I submitted a story that is a duplicate and I want to delete it but don't know how...

If the article has not been approved, then you should be able to delete it. On the front page, click your icon and choose "my submissions", and it'll take you to a list of all the stuff you submitted. From there, I believe there should be an option to delete it. If something is approved already, only the Mods and Admins can delete it. If you can't figure it out, just post the link and we'll take care of it.

I have a duplicate story I would like to delete as well. However, within a few minutes of my submitting it, it got reported and failed. Now when I click delete, nothing happens.

I don't see an open ticket from you. Anyway, we don't delete submissions that failed for being duplicates. There really is no reason to delete these, especially 2 week old ones.

That's weird. I submitted it as a Technical ticket. That might be an even bigger issue if you don't even see the ticket. Anyway, it's a bit odd that there would even be a delete button next to a failed submission if it can't be deleted.
