Delete all the UC2 game data (not save data, but the game data file that saves your settings for the game) and it should stop patching it. As long as it detects that file on the system, it will update it. No matter the game.
Deleted both to no avail - same for Skate. I went and cleared the patch data again
There's nothing in "Game Data" or "Save Data" on the PS3 corresponding to either title...and nothing in the uploaded PS Plus save data either. I'm keeping the feature on again tonight to see if it redownloads this data again...if it does, I guess this is just a feature I won't use.
Update: Well the way to get this to behave seems to be as follows:
1) Delete the Game Data (and possibly Save, and Cloud Save Data) for any title you wish not to be patched.
2) Allow automatic patching to occur once.
3) If patch data for some title you deleted is downloaded, go to your Game Data and delete the newly created content.
4) Next cycle, the game should not be patched again.
Now the question is, if Skate or Uncharted 2 (or any game I do not have Game Data for, for that matter) receive further content/patching if I will randomly acquire it in the future...
