Now read before posting.
There will be rules to this thread. You will be telling us about a game that could potentially happen that you'd like to see. And you can have another game where you know is not going to happen at all due to copyrights and what not, but would like to see anyways even if it has a 0.001% of being released. My dream game that could become possible:
I would like to see a sequel to the Resistance franchise with the same gameplay engine and physics from the first game
. Basically, I'd love to see a developer use the Resistance 1 engine and graphics, and then "build" on that. Rather than changing the gameplay, physics, feel of the guns like they did in Resistance 2 and 3. Not that I have anything against those 2 games, I loved both sequels. But I think most Resistance fans want to see a sequel that is very similar to the original
in terms of the creepy atmosphere and "old-school arena-shooter gameplay."
I would like to see more enemy variety and cool looking bosses. I also would prefer the enemies to have a big health bar and not die after 2 bullets (This is why I don't enjoy CoD anymore).
So basically, same gameplay, but improved graphics.
I would also like to see the campaign take place in many exotic places around the world
such as Japan, China, or even Australia (I'd love to see chimeran strains in the unique animals of Australia).
Also, no scripted boss battle sequence. Also, a lengthy campaign would be cherry on top. I could care less about the online. As for DLC, I'd like to see more campaign missions as DLC. I will gladly pay for those. My dream game that has no chance of ever being released:
A really good Captain America game that follows the comics extremely well, and has the same amount of praise as the Batman Arkham Asylum series. A game that compares well to Batman AA or Spiderman on the PS1. I also want a sequence in the game where you get to punch hitler. The reason I don't see it happening is because I just can't name any developer willing enough to take up the mantle and develop this game.
I would really like to know yours, please comment below, I'm excited to see what people will come up with.
