What do you want to see on the PS4?

Personally I think that it would be awesome if Sony had a more open PS store where people could develop apps for it like temple run, angry birds, etc. I also think that this would allow for people to make more than just gaming apps for the PS4, like an alarm, custom music players, etc.

I also believe that it would be cool if some apps worked on the vita too.

What do you guys want to see?

Killzone 4 and to be able to watch friends play their games. Similar to the friends list for OnLive. It was really cool. There would be an option to turn it off.

I would like to see on the ps4... Cross game chat, still don;t know why we can't do that yet...  Also buying a game and being able to gift it to some one. Like on steam.  Would also like to see a display in the controller like what nintendo did with theirs only better... 

I would love to see motion controls dropped and if possible... display glasses... 

With that said a focus of games games games... all the other stuff is fluff... 

Valkyria Chronicles 4 or something similar and I'll pick up a PS4 around launch.

As with this gen, its BC or bust. When my PS2 broke I had nearly 100 games and all were incompatible on my original (unopened) 40 GB PS3. Returned the gift as soon as I found out there was no BC. It was another 3 years before I bought another PS3 (used). Such a waste. I hope SONY doesn't abandon gamers again with the PS4.

My most recent use of BC was over the summer. Since this gaming year was a bit sparse, I ended up playing Sid Meirer's Pirates on my 360. Great fun! Personally, PS4 BC is a MUST.

How quick does SONY want to forget about the PS3?

All I want is the same as this gen. A constant great line-up of first party games, a decent focus on unorthodox/unique offerings and free PSN.  They need to improve PSN's performance though. Right now it's unacceptable.

I also want to see more Plus support for the PS4. As in, I don't want to subscribe to PlayStation Plus and have Sony cry all over me with "PLEASE BUY A VITA, YOU CAN PLAY ALL THESE SH!TTY GAMES FOR FREE!!! :(" which is how I feel about the store right now. I honestly thought NGS was free on the store and I was like "oh, that's cool, maybe I'll give it a go" as I'd sold my copy ages ago and haven't played Ninja Gaiden in a while. But surely enough, it's the godforsaken Vita version. I love how hilarious it is that you can basically own the Vita's entire library just by having PS Plus. All what is it now? 18 games? Man

Anyway yeah - more PS4-centric PS Plus, otherwise I will not sign up again

PS2 BC because the disc drives of every PS2 are unreliable as fk.

Would like to see full backwards compatibility ps2/3.


A Socom 2 HD remake, or the SOF studios H Hour game on next gen rather than current. 


Full remote play with the vita even if it would just be ps2/3 or psn games.  Use the feature as it is available and works without patches from the devs like they lead people to believe.

More of the same, just more developed. 

First and foremost, I want them to continue developing games.  Quicker, easier store.  I have loved ps plus.  I've been able to download more games than i ever thought I would.  I don't care too much for BC.  I have my ps2; I will keep my ps3.  Plus, I personally think that is part of the reason where gaikai will come in.

Agreed. It's sad to see so many PS3 owners absolutely swearing off Fallout, Elder Scrolls, or anything Bethesda related because of past issues. Understandable, but those are some of the best games this gen.

I want a good looking console, not one that looks like a pizza box.
