"Download recommended games and videos"

This is a PS Plus automatic download feature. I've turned it on since my internet is unmetered and I've recently acquired this PS3 to replace my dying one.

Now...does this feature actually work for anyone? I've had it on for a few days now and my Automatic Update alert in the afternoon lets me know that my data was uploaded, some patches were downloaded, etc. but nothing about any 'recommended games or videos'. So... are there simply no recommended games/videos out right now lol?

I don't think this is a glitch or anything, but I'm wondering 1) if anyone uses it 2) their thoughts on the things it has downloaded in the past 3) the frequency at which it downloads anything, which at this point seems like it just never does download anything
