Tagging Rules for 'Next-gen' Not Real Clear

Recently I've received a report on a submission saying I should remove the 'next-gen' tag because I included tags for 'PS4' and 'Xbox 720'. I thought I was in keeping with how tags are usually applied in such situations, according to most news posts I've seen. As far as I can tell this is a false report, but I don't feel the matter is entirely clear-cut. That's something I think needs some clarification.

Hi nathanstandingby. The Next-gen tag is used when a platform/device is being discussed and is not available as its own tag on N4G. In the past, that was the next PlayStation and next Xbox. That recently changed when the PS4 and Xbox 720 tags were added as platform options. The Wii U has been there for almost a year now. So, when discussing topics related to the next PlayStation, Xbox, and the Wii U, you should use their appropriate tags to aid people in finding that news as oppose to the generic 'Next-gen' tag. In the future, if an un-announced next-generation device is possible and the tag does no exist on N4G yet, then the Next-Gen should be utilized when a submission is talking about that subject. Thank you, cgoodno
