Final Fantasy XIII-2 hands down, looked noticeably worse than its predecessor, was also the first FF major release to have only 3 CGIs (including intro, and ending !), SE did their best to fit the game on one DVD, but graphics took a major tumble.

One thing that always bugged me was. If your current use character dies...why is the game over? This has never been true for Final Fantasy till this one. Such a stupid decision.

Rigght, that annoyed me in FF13/13-2. I don't get why I can't switch to other chars mid way. I like Lightning's special skill for ravager, but I like Fang's special skill for Commando dmg.

Not quite - you're comparing Infinity Ward in their glory days vs lolTreyarch. Agreed that Killzone 2 looked cooler than 3, Uncharted 3 probably would have looked better if they hadn't bothered with 3D (same with killzone 3 for that matter)

I swear people are completely ignorant. Crysis 2 looks miles better than the original game. This is the third time i heard that sentence this week and it's just wrong.

Wait, are you saying that the open-world limited the game because of its resource consumption or that the linearity limited the game because it couldn't show anything off?

He's saying that any reason that Crysis 2 may have looked better was because the focus was put into making it linear. AKA they had a lot more to work with rather than having to focus on making it look good for open worlds instead of small ones.

Play Crysis 1 totally maxed and with that one Time of Day modification if you will, just to show off how good the game can actually look (all it does is move the sun's position in certain areas for maximized lighting effects). There was even a thing showing off how gimped Crysis 2 was in certain aspects and it was quite blatant. That's what happens when you decide to put a PC-only title onto the weaker PS3 and 360
