Anybody Else Disappointed At The "Next Gen" Graphics?

I have to say i liked the new killzone and of course i am excited for the new infamous game but i am pretty underwhelmed by "next gen graphics" it just doesn't look like a big step up from the ps3 and i expect the same thing with the x-box 720, Are you impressed by the PS4's graphics?

I'm not disappointed by next-gen graphics, but I was just disappointed by what was (and what wasn't) shown at that conference.
You have to bear in mind graphics will improve over time for the console, just like with any other console. The raw hardware is there

Look at BF3 on PC and you have next gen(if even). I think it's fine. If it can be consistent 60FPGS 1080P at that level of graphics...I will be wowed with most games

I don't really know what you were expecting. Perhaps you were expecting something not possible. The leap is more subtle than what you are thinking. Lighting, post-processing, high res textures, high particle count, they're there.

Because there was actually something they could improve on in that sense. Remember we were going from PS2 to Ps3 and xbox to Xbox 360. It was like going from a row boat to a motor boat. Now the consoles aren't capable of having a leap that is the same as that without having to make them the cost of a PC.

Nop. My expectations were in check and all I want from the PS4 will come. I hope Sony shows more games on E3 though and I also hope MS shows what they got, there.

It's pretty much what I was expecting. I think most Playstation fans have the inflated sense of what "next-gen" games should look like. The Killzone demo was nice, but all graphical features everyone on the front page is hyping up has existed since Crysis 2 in 2011.

It's too early to judge. At least wait until E3, all of the stuff you've seen could be early builds. Devs have barely had any time with the PS4, what you're seeing may just be the tip of the iceberg.

Did we watch the same event??
The graphics look amazing and I notice a great jump in graphics. Look at all the details etc....
I am pumped...... Sony did a great job on this one..... They focused on games and the gamer...... not apps and all crap......
Cannot wait for Holiday 2013.....

I wasn't expecting a huge bump in visual quality as I expected that a fair bit of additional power would be required just to improve both resolution and framerate. I'm happy with what I'm seeing though.

Not disappointed at all. There is a lot to be excited for (a lot of potential with ps4 system). And Sony didn't even announce anything from their bigger studios, Naughty Dog, PD, SM, etc.
