I really hope this game turns out to be as awesome as it looks. The E3 demo last year was great.

You still think it's going to be on the last gen consoles? The PS3 and 360 I mean.

I think it will be one of those in between games, like King Kong.

Well, I thought they announced it for them, and they put the box arts up on their official Facebook page.

They did announce them but it was before the PS4 was officially revealed. Budget may be right in that it is an in-between game like King Kong, Gun and BF2: Modern Combat were.

True, they could be not saying anything about, because of Microsoft.

The game is limited to the PS3 and 360. I thought the demo for the PS4 was underwhelming for it being a next-gen game. Not interested for now.

Ubisoft games always look amazing in previews, but usually suffer from bad game design choices and poor engine optimisation. Were there any big Ubisoft games this gen that didn't suffer screen tearing?

I honestly don't remember much, if any, from both Splinter Cells released on 360.

Edit: My initial thought was that you meant "big" in regards to popularity; you probably means in term of the size of the game's world.

AC3, despite imho not as great as its predecessors (AC1 excluded), performed much better than them.

Just because the PS4 wasn't announced to the public doesn't really make a difference. They've surely been working with the tech for a good while now and they decided to announce it for current generation consoles anyway.

Box art looks pretty lame to me, EA and Ubisoft really need to try be a little creative with them (not that it really matters, but I'm a bit sick of seeing nothing more than X character with X weapon in X animation looking out trying to look cool).

Looks cool but I'm just a bit sick of Ubisoft now. That leaked poster pissed me off a bit, I mean the game isn't due out for about 10 months but they already have pre-order content sorted with retailers. I'll get it no doubt because it looks like a lot of fun but it ought to be my last Ubisoft game for a while. Stuffed in multiplayer will no doubt be a crock of ****.

For those interested about the PS4 version, senior producer at Ubisoft Montreal said " "Fundamentally the core, innovative part of Watch Dogs is the same on every platform. But on PS4 we're able to push every lever a lot further, Watch Dogs will use the PlayStation 4's new touch pad to control Aiden Pearce's phone in-game, something which is described as a "direct translation" and a "really cool" feature.

Visuals, perhaps but that gameplay looks amazing. and until shadow fall or the other graphical heavy hitters release there won't be too many other titles to compare it to and be disappointing. I'm sure they will dress it up now that they did even know about 4 extra gigs of ram to play with.

You see, there could be tons of good uses for the touchpad. If you just think about what you can use it for, there are tons of possibilities. I can think a few of my head right now.

Not sure how well that will translate. It makes more sense just to use the joysticks instead of letting go of the controller w/ ur right hand and using the touch pad.

^ Doing so breaks immersion and just adds more of a hassle than convenience.

Plus, unless you know what you are "clicking" (like a vita screen, u know what u are tapping), I don't want a "mouse pad" to control the mouse in the phone.
