You know I've honestly never played a Civ game online, yet I play it offline all the time (about to right now). I might be down. What time zone are we talking here?

Damn... I just got Civ V for free with the GreenManGaming BioShock Infinite preorder and didn't realize that this DLC even existed. Well... how is it? The DLC compared to the main game I mean I have never played a Civilization game before, offline or online, so I'm curious to try this one. I probably wouldn't fork out extra for DLC until I've seen if I like it or not yet

Bman we are in the eastern Time zone... the start time is between 6pm and 9pm depending on who is coming... we play pretty late as well.. but continuing a game is possible as well... If we are deep enough in to a game we can save it from that point and still continue the another day....

I probably wouldn't fork out extra for DLC until I've seen if I like it or not yet Gods and Kings is more than worth the money... A: it helps speeds the pace of the game. B: Religion brings in a whole new aspect of the game with its own tree of research and so on... C: You get a lot of different playable Civilizations with it D: Spies brings in a different type of game play that is a lot lighter than the religion but another layer to the game... I can't tell you how much that this I feel completes this game... This was planned from the start because it works so well and is worth it..

Hm. Well I guess if I end up really getting into Civ V that I'd pick up the DLC. Really cool that it comes free with a $46 preorder of Infinite

Really cool that it comes free with a $46 preorder of Infinite This is the best CIV to get to start to learn on... it is really streamlined and it is a lot easier to follow... The past ones were very very very micro manage... Also it is looks great and plays smooth.... Online is way slower than the SP cause there is a lot more calculations and back and forth but it... is the best Civ MP so far as well...

That's good to hear. I'm glad I picked this game out of the other less interesting options (Spec Ops The Line, Darkness II, Mafia II, BioShock 2) Edit: Played for a few hours. Game looks great and is quite fun, and very new player friendly. Still not going to quite get the DLC yet, but I'm enjoying it so far. Definitely a nice game to get as a preorder bonus
