Typical boring rhetoric... And not a shred of truth in it>
Nintendo have the success of the Wii console, the DS and 3DS handhelds, having provided and still to this day providing a steady stream of profits straight to the bank.
The situation on Wii U is not a pretty picture by any stretch of the imagination, but saying their "fate is sealed" is false.
If anything they can still turn this situation around. At the very worst Nintendo survives the next couple of years on first party titles alone. And they have the staying power, reach and finances to do it. Is it a good look for Nintendo? Hell no... But it is what it is right now.
When the next true Mario, Zelda drop the Wii U will sell again like it did at launch. Then we can speculate on Metroid, Starfox etc... Other systems sellers like Mario Kart and Smash Bro's have already been confirmed for production...
That's not even considering how titles like X2, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101 will do for the system to stimulate interest.
Then on the tale end of that consideration we have Ubisofts; Watch Dogs, AC4 and SC Blacklist in the works...
I think they have their work cut out for them, but when it's all said and done, Nintendo are far from over!
Nintendo sealed its fate when it went after the casual crowd and found success back in 2006.
