How is this acceptable in 2013? In some spots it drops to 16fps.  Not to mention it only runs at 720P.

the game's a freaking mess. Only 720p but the frame-rate still  goes as low as 10 and it runs consistently at 20! And not to mention the godawful textures and jaggies that are even worse than a first gen PS3 title like Resistance. Like seriously, I know the XB1 is weak but this is stupid.

Well that sucks. 

You should make a thread about the COD ghosts frame rate issues on PS4 next. Then say something like GDDR5****YEAAAAH. You know, for balance.


Next gen consoles for the win.

It's too bad 90% of the internet is illiterate. That's slow texture loading homes, not an actual texture. 






Don't get me wrong though, I'm still disappointed. Those framerates are terrible. 

I haven't really given much credence to the Resolutiongate scandal, because resolution does not determine how good a game will be, but framerate ABSOLUTELY affects gameplay. 


The perplexing thing about this is that when I played the game @ the Tour, it was pretty smooth. I'll wait for final reviews as I still want the game, but I am definitely disappointed in Capcom Vancouver's priorities. They're pimping the game out to be fun, but no one will have fun if it's dropping to 10fps.

I'm hoping these frame rate issues are from an earlier build because this game has A LOT of potential that can easily be ruined by this.

Exactly. It's "bad" enough it's running 720p30, though there are other features that separate it from current gen achievements, if they can't at least keep the framerate above 24FPS, it could be potentially damning to the title. 


DF did admit thought they were playing a debug version as it had a V-sync option, so I'm sticking with violently flaming optimism on this one till the bitter(sweet) end.

COD ghost has Frame rate issues on all platforms even the pc version has FPS problems.

Well, I mean resolution isn't the only this that effects the frame rate of a game. Stuff like AA,particle effects, things that control the graphical fidelity of a game also changes it up a lot.  Think of Tomb Raider's tessellation for example. You could potentially see a massive loss in framerate just by enabling it.

But yeah, regardless below 30fps? = a no buy by my books. It means there's something seriously wrong. I mean the Xbox One hardware isn't THAT bad, it should be able to handle this game at 60fps IMO, but not even 30? That's bad.

Lol, you could build this argument with a 25fps title. This is actually horrendous. Frame rate drops give me aneurysms so I'd likely achieve death while playing this game.

Its really the way you look at it man. PC gamers are use to stable frames. Console gamers are use to low frames but at least for the most part most games are capped at a certain fps. Hopefully these dips are ironed out but knowing capcom idk.

Hey this is a fun game, oh wow that's a lot of NPCs on screen, hope the frame rate doesn't dro-HNNNNGGGGG

Happens far too often.
