Now about that AA and outdated resolution.

1080p is outdated? Nobody has 4K yet, and the difference between that and 1080 must be inconsequential on a screen below 70"

I had a lot of fun with this game maxed out back when it was released in March, it's definitely a much nicer experience with the eye-candy turned all the way up. Good to know console gamers can experience at least a small part of that magic now.

Pretty bad for the One, but from what I understand it's an unlocked frame rate so it isn't 60 fps solid on the PS4 nor is it 30 fps locked on the One.

This is simply not true.

It's nearly a decade old resolution. 1080p is outdated and has been for two years.

1440p is equally outdated.

I am personally skipping 1440p and going from dual 1080p to dual 4K when prices begin to descend later on next year.

So I've got that long to stroke my ego? Fair enough.

Huh!, I see you guys are gonna be as sassy as ever this gen as well. It's constantly raining peepee on console parade in the n4g forums!.Yay.

We'll certainly experience "a small part of the magic" -chuckle- at an -snort- outdated resolution...

...You classist pieces of hue-manatee, when will you attest *some* credit to some other than Windows and Nintendo handhelds, chaps?  You'll all be running The Witcher 3 @4k and 60+ fps easily I pressume?
Yeah, when I manage to find a ministry job I'll join betatesting PC hardware, for now I don't have 600€ lying around in the pocket, so yeah, lucky you, I'll stick to enjoying current gen consoles for what they seem to be: Kinda awesome.

This is the saltiest post I've ever read. There is nothing wrong with gaming on console, but it is rather hilarious that Tomb Raider is being branded as the "Definitive Edition" when it clearly is not. Perhaps that went over your head.

And the argument about buying into PC gaming is always null and void. Get a Steambox instead of a PS4 if you want to "beta test" PC hardware, though I assure you, the hardware has been around long enough as it is.

If you have yet to play Tomb Raider, yes, despite the unfounded hate I've seen for it the consensus is that it is an excellent adventure title (because it is). It might also seem like a minor thing but I also quite enjoyed TressFX, which is in the Definitive Edition as well (in some form).

Also, the price point for this rerelease is quite awful. No one who has already played the game should be buying this.

Not at $60, I thought it was pretty fun for 3 hours, and after that it was kinda boring. It's one of those "when will it end?!" games.

I don't know man, I've had a pretty good day.

Supposedly this includes all the DLC, don't know if there's a lot of it, but does that and whatever gfx improvements they've made make it a worthwhile buy on xbone vs just getting the much cheaper Steam version? Pretty sure I can max the PC version...

If you can get it on Steam, the price premium for the console version is pretty much not worth it.

Good game, not worth the current price point. This iis Square simply milking the series so they can hit their target sales for the game(although I swear it sold astronomically well for a reboot title of a dead series)

If TR had better characters/story, it would own Uncharted. I liked the game otherwise. Decent length, and being able to go back to the island after is some good reply for treasure hunting with less bad guy distractions.

If you've got a good PC, get it on PC.
