The Greatest Fighting Games of all Time

Fighting games are one of my favorite genres. Whether it be old school or 3D. I still think 2D is best but I have been forced to move on although a new 2D gem pops up once in a while. I posted this article earlier and it was very nostalgic for me. Check it out.. http://n4g.com/gaming/News-162783.aspx And if there are some that aren't listed we can discuss them on this thread as well as the classics that are mentioned in the article. I do not know if there are many fighting game enthusiasts on N4G...only one way to find out.

The greatest fighting game of all time is Marvel vs Capcom 2. But my personal favorite is Killer Instinct, and Tekken. Rise of the Robots is another great fighter that you should check out as well .

It looks like a Dragon's Lair fighting game. I think Bloodmask and I are the only ones who appreciate ****ty fighting games... such as this one.

I remember seeing that in the arcades, but I never gave it a shot. Remember that 3D fighter Midway made with the fatalities. Something Gods? There was a port on N64 I think. That was probably the worst fighter I ever played.

War Gods. And I absolutely loved that ****ty fighter. Dont ask me why. I think it was supposed to be a test game for MK4. What was the funniest moment is when you beat a person, and instead of saying finish him, he says PROVE YOURSELF!!!

None of those are as bad as Pit Fighter. On the flip side, you guys must remember Primal Rage. That was a sweet game.
