It's weird to see the goodno with an avatar...

I've actually always had an avatar... I just took the old one and added some noise.  It was a (bad) joke about new people not getting avatars in one intro thread.  The joke was I was telling them to not get it and become "one of them" when I had already done it, ever so subtly.

Nope, I will be writing pet articles. I have a Veterinary Technician background and have worked in the veterinary industry for over 15 years. I saw an ad that they were looking for a pet article writer and on a whim I submitted a sample article and they chose me. I have to submit my first article in 10 days and I am thinking about writing a "Which pet is best for your household" article.

This whole "pre-order for extra content" trend is a terrible trend this generation. Pretty much guaranteeing that if you don't abide by the publishers or developers on when you want to purchase a product you desire you don't get the whole package. 

Consumer -"Wait, why is my 60 dollar version of this game different from his/hers/their 60 dollar version of the game?" 
Developer - "Because you didn't buy it when WE WANTED you to buy it, sucks for you!"

It's actually the fault of retailers, not developers.  Retailers want the pre-order bonuses to drive up sales and to advertise their retail chain over others.  Developers, if they want the retailers to play ball, give in.  

Steam, fortunately, really doesn't have that issue.  You can buy the CE edition at any time.  Not just on pre-order.  This is an issue with retail stores wanting something to drive consumers to their stores over others.  Developers cave in to improve advertisement of their game and desired shelf space placement.

Not to say digital doesn't have its issue.  I know a few indie developers who have had their game go completely unnoticed on Steam, GoG, iOS, and similar platforms because they didn't pay into being 'featured' or they were priced at an amount that was too high or too low for them to want to advertise/made available on the service.  

No matter what, it's all about the developers caving into the retail outlet in order to get their game advertised through them.  It's not really anything about developers wanting to screw over gamers.  If they don't play ball, they lose potential consumers through lack of retail advertising and placement.

Looks like another reality show that takes an extremist look at a section of our culture, giving others the impression that because I'm a geek I must dress, act, and do the things these people do.

I meant to focus primarily on publishers. But as we can see with developers like Ninja Theory and the crap they pull. Either way, it's a terrible trend, one that hurts the consumer in the end. Even the whole exclusive content is a terrible. It's always been terrible, and it shouldn't be allowed in business, especially since you're advertising the same product.

I'm starting Game of Thrones today i'm running out of good shows.

I just finished Curb Your Enthusiasm and i'm waiting for the new seasons of Breaking Bad and Dexter, also for the new episode of Walking Dead.

I don't get valve. They say they wanna bring dota 2 to tablets but they can't, but Gameloft can bring a good looking moba of there own to tablets. It sucks but it looks and performs well?

The English voice acting for DBZ back in the 90s is godawful. But I guess that's what made it great back then. Hell they even forgot to get rid of a ton of voice-overs the japanese woman did for Goku.
