The man from no where. 9/10. It's like taken except...better. Same story different(better) execution.

You can't go wrong with Peanuts, straight forward enough for kids but also has depth so anyone can enjoy it.

The American (2010)

I liked it. The film is a slow burner and won't be for everyone, it's filled with a lot of tension and suspense throughout. Clooney was really good in it. Ending was to predictable though.

bourne legacy meh

Looper - 7.0  Cool concept, but just didn't click with me.

Casino - 7.0  Felt like it was trying to relive the success of Good Fellas.

Kill Bill Vol 1 - 8.5  Kill Bill Vol 2 - 7.5 (Yes because there wasn't as much blood and action)

American Psycho - 7.0 Hm...Seemed to drag on for me. Bateman wasn't as interesting as I though he would be.

A Prophet - 9.0  Good story telling. Never dull.

Jack Reacher 9/10 - Brilliant action movie with plenty of surprises.

Dredd's (2012) premise is basically a rip-off of The Raid's (2011) but still, Dredd is so much better. After so many disappointments with garbage Spider-Man, garbage The Avengers, boring Prometheus and garbage Batman Rising I didn't think that 2012 had such an awesome movie like Dredd. The *** allowed for some really fancy/artsy (and many filters) camera action and the action itself was amazing at the level of freaking Robocop 20 seconds to comply? Oh yes! 8/10 and it freaking deserves it.

I was really starting to lose all hope on modern blockbuster movies but this one restored my faith.

 


Brilliant action film, one of the best i've ever scene. 





An autistic girl with powerful martial art skills looks to settle her ailing mother's debts by seeking out the ruthless gangs that owe her family money. 


The storyline is a bit out there but the martial art fight scenes are really good, and this chick can kick azz. If you like martial arts films then give this a go. The credits show the fight and stunt crew getting injured throughout filming. One guy takes a serious drop and breaks his neck.






A down-on-his luck father, whose insurance won't cover his son's heart transplant, takes the hospital's emergency room hostage until the doctors agree to perform the operation.


Ok, it's a bit silly, but it's still entertaining. Brings up issues regarding Americas health care problems too, but only touches on the subject.






A Must watch. De Niro's performance as Travis is amazing, definitely plays his character to perfection. 






One of the worst films of all time. OF. ALL. TIME.
