Looper (2012)

8/10 good movie; drugs and cyberpunk just like Dredd(2012). To be honest, I didn't know that cyberpunk made its comeback in 2012, now I understand that Cyberpunk game sequel making an appearance all of a sudden. Before it was zombies and now is cyberpunk but I was starting to miss stuff like Blade Runner(1982), Strange Days(1995) and Children or Men (2006) to be honest. Cyberpunk is awesome.

Really good film. Never heard of it before i watched it, it even won an Oscar (not sure what award). Great cast and pretty engaging story.

Seven Psychopaths - This was surprisingly good, wasn't expecting anything. Worth watching.

I liked this. Benecio Del Toro was the stand out actor. Oh and Salma Hayek  Ending was a bit random though.

Wayyyyy funnier then i thought it would be. It's an Apatow comedy so it's got a bit of drama in it, but it's still really good. The big chick from Bridesmaids is in this, she kills it, especially in a scene involving the principle.

7/10

Built on familiar parts, but Shannon's acting and interesting storytelling trumped my expectations for the film.

10/10

It's pretty surreal this is the movie we got (considering Bin Laden's death happened during pre-production)

+ Exhaustive dramatized detail that will probably never be topped (we'll probably get future documentaries on this)
+ Chastain is probably getting Oscar gold
+ Intense raid
+ Burt Macklin going after Bin Laden
+ etc. etc.

Django Unchained.

Loved it, the whole audience in the cinema loved it. People were clapping at the end lol. It was funny, it had bloody graphic violence, (something rarely seen in films these days), fantastic acting and the subject of slavery was a welcome change to what we usually see nowadays.

Tarantino was on point as usual with the soundtrack, it did sound familiar to his previous films but it worked perfectly. When they played Rick Ross and remixed 2pac with James brown it was too good.

Christopher Waltz was in this, his acting as per usual was fantastic, as was Di Caprio's. One of them could win an Oscar for their performances. But Samuel Jackson killed it, his character and they way he played him was so funny.

For me, it was one of my favourite films of all time, my second favourite Tarantino film. 1st is Pulp Fiction.

To clarify: I am noting artistic license did stretch certain portions of the film here.

The bolded doesn't mean I'm recognizing the film AS a documentary (it's a "docu-drama"), only that I don't believe future documentaries on the hunt for Osama Bin Laden (the "this" part) won't top this movie when considering all of its parts.

I'm not exactly sure how y'all disregarded that.

I'm actually going to read that novel after I've finished Sons and Lovers

It doesn't seem like a movie for everyone either.  Six seperate stories connected by a reincarnation angle spread out on a 3-hour movie sounds like a screenwriter's nightmare.

Nothing happens? Are you dizzy fam? Lots of sh*t happens. The talk isn't worthless, it's needed for the plot and character building.
