Dexter

My brother has been telling me to check this out since it first came out on TV... but I ever really listened.  Well I was at the store last week and saw the first season on DVD.  I had nothing to do that night so I bought it on impulse.  Finished the season that day, bought the 2nd season and just finished that.  This show is great.  Comedy, action, drama, throw in an ounce of horror... tada!

If you have the time, I highly suggest checking out your local video rental store and see if they have the first season on DVD. Definitely worth watching.

yeah, I've had several people recommend Dexter to me but I still haven't gotten around to checking it out. It's on my radar though, so one day.

 

Dexter is easily one of my favorite shows of all time.  I bought the first season on blu ray, because there was such a good sale and I was hooked.  Season 2 comes out on blu ray this upcoming Tuesday for anyone interested.

what is it about? is it Sci-Fi?

It's about a guy named Dexter that is a serial killer that basically only kills other bad guys (rapist, murderers, etc.).  He has a craving to kill and that is how he takes care of it.  He works for forensics with the Miami PD and has to keep his killing a secret.  There is some dark humor and you get to enjoy watching him keep his problem a secret and try to be as normal as possible.  It is a Showtime original series, and the main character (Dexter) was also on "Six Feet Under".

Looks like lots of bodies. I wonder if they are gonna go the "jesus" route this season that's kinda what the teasers and this trailer have been alluding to but I've always known dexter to be an atheist. Either way it looks like it's gonna be a great season.

Dexter is amazing i just started watching it to and i find myself constantly watching it now all the time. I `m on the third season and loving every single episode, I cannot wait till the 6th season.

I watched season 1-4 in like a month back in early 2010 then subscribed to HBO solely for season 5. Can't wait for season 6. Love it.

Dexter is actually one of my favourite shows. You should read the books, they are MUCH better then the tv series.

I'm really liking this season so far, there are many dynamics in the shows going on but it doesn't seem overwhelming. I think the writers caught their stride again. Even thought a lot of people said they didn't like the last season with the Christian killer, I thought it was good. 

I'm actually enjoying this season more than walking dead and breaking bad.

This is the best season of dexter since the Trinity Killer season.

The whole cat and mouse bit with Deb and Dexter was getting old, glad the writers didn't continue on with it.

N4G Adventure Part 1 - screw it

Oh diety, it's going to be Lilah ALL over again. Who will pay the price for Dexter's "indiscretion" this season?

T.v. Series always attracts to me, watched so many by me but Dexter is the name of T.v. Show that i start to watch after my elder brother suggestion. I have watched so many episodes of this show from July 2012 to till date but due to my busy schedule unable to watch for the same, what happening now ?.

Having many stars like Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Vélez but i like the act of Jennifer Carpenter the most.
