Am I missing something here? You wouldn't get more than a couple of dollars for Modern Warfare, so how is that going to fund your Modern Warfare 2 purchase? Regardless of what people feel about the sequel, however, it seems unanimous that it improves upon everything from the previous game (save for the fact that Modern Warfare 2 seems to have a terrible singleplayer that most won't play more than once) - so why not?

MW2 is a directly sequal to the first one, thus I would keep it. Then again I'm REALLY big on a story and having a great experience. I still own halo 1, 2 and 3. So to keep the story intact I would keep it.

Believe it or not, the GS around my way has COD4 for 49.99?? lol, maybe that changed?

also GS has this deal where you get like 25 percent more if you trade any games

towards pre-ordered games.

Oh crap really?, I been on a media black out for MW2 for a while, I thought it wasn't a direct sequel in terms of story??

Well then it make sense I keep it then, I guess I can sell another game then(MLB 09 or something ), thanks for the replies guys.

I agree.  If you can help it, you should always hold onto your games.  If you are going to sell them, you should at least use craigslist or eBay.  I've worked out plenty of good trades on craigslist as well.

Sell that sucka and get what you can, and go enjoy MW2

                   -I'm a huge fan of living in the present... MW2 is where it's at, that's what everyone will be playing and Soon we will move on to other games and one day MW2 will be old... -but chances are your already going to hang on to MW2 until MW3 so -get what you can for COD4 -(it's time to put it down) -it's time... Move on' keeping it is pointless because your not going to play it again... ever..

If you plan on playing or just love seeing that game in your collection then keep it. It's like a token of your gaming world. If you are not going to play ever again, then who cares if they give you only about $4! It's something!

You might as well sell it, save yourself a bit of money. 
I traded in half a dozen games to buy Batman: AA, and don't regret it. You may be different though.
I live in Australia, and games are so expensive over here. Our dollar is equal to 92 cents American, but our new games are $120 a pop, so I try and trade to save a bit of coin.

You never get what they are worth out of them... I don;t have a lot of money but I don;t trade games cause I will play them when I don;t have the money...
