 HD 4870 connecting to power supply

HD 4870 connecting to power supply - Saturday, November 14, 2009 9:36 AM
i am building a gaming pc and was going to get a 4870 but the power supply i have chosen (cant be change as of budget )  only has one pci E input so i will have use the converter thats in box when doing this will i need to use two molex cables from power suppy to the converter or will one be enougth with pci E cable running to graphics card thanks  for any help this by first build

you need to use 2 molex connectors.

just be sure that your PSU is strong otherwise say byebye to it,

I know someone that ran gtx260 with the power suppy and has been for about 6 months what uses more the gtx260 or the 4870? and is 4870 a good buy i was really interrested in nvidea 3d but it decided to go with 4870 was this the right decision ?
