Well, me and my girl were arguing about seeing 2012 and I told her that the movie will suck and we would be wasting money on it. She said, well let's watch the movie another way and I said I'll stream it and hook it up to the HDTV and if she really likes it then we will rewatch it in the movie theatres. So do you guys know any sites that allow this and other movies?

    

i would only think you could torrent the movie, set it up on your computer, and stream it from your computer using your ps3.  Im not sure if any websites would allow you to see a movie that just came out in theatres.

It's impossible to find a movie that it is on theaters anywhere else but in the theater. You can always look for the pirated version on torrents but the quality's gonna be so bad that is not worth it. It is better to wait for it to be released on DVD and Blu-ray and then download a good rip in HD, SD or whatever resolution you want it.

If you're lucky and snoop around, maybe someone will torrent it and show it on some video chatting site.

Other than that, no other real way.

Yeah a lot of times the newer movies are just cams but older movies are mostly dvd rips. But like the OP said he's not too concerned about the quality just wants to know if the films any good and this will give ya an idea of if you want to go see it in the theater.

 

a movie that came out 2 days ago will not have a good copy out online until its either it is leaked or comes out on dvd.  pretty much all cam versions suck.

I wish it wasn't a limited release no one around here is playing it.

FULLY F*CKING AGREE!  I was so hyped for this.  I still can't believe how insanely limited the release was... Boondock Saints was such an awesome movie and has a HUGE cult following.  I'll just continue to check all the torrent sites every day.

As for new movies streaming... sure there are sites out there.  But it's all cam versions.  Sometimes with a really crappy movie there is a DVD version leaked while it's still in the theater... but I guarantee you won't find that with 2012.  If you can deal with the fuzzy screen, horrible audio and shaky camera/people getting in the way.... go for it.  Though, for a movie that's only redeeming quality seems to be the awesome visuals and destruction sequences.... you are setting yourself up for a tremendous waste of time.

Instead go torrent The Hangover or something else decent that isn't on DVD yet.  I'll be watching The Surrogates (DVD quality) tonight.  :)

edit- Scratch Surrogates, just found Funny People (DVD quality) on piratebay.  :)

The maiden heist also has a dvd rip floating about. I DL it but have yet to watch it I hear good things though.

Surrogates is pretty good I think you'll enjoy it I did I'd say 7/10 but the story is just so similar to what I see our future being in 20-50 years that anyone should take a look.

I second this.....if you have a ps3, you can download straight to your ps3 on this site, just go to the movie and on the screen it will say ''DOWNLOAD'' Right in the middle of the screen put your cursor over it and bring up that menu, go down to file and save target...then wait till it's done :D.

I would rather download dvd rips then cam's since it's easier on the eyes.
