Metal Gear Solid HD Trilogy

This is one of my most anticipated games of 2011, even though its a remake these games are just too amazing.

It better come, or else...

Basically gets rid of the jaggies and clears up the image. I don't care for the graphics though with this game.

Two things:
1. Isn't this still in the rumor phase?

2. The game play from the first two games was horrible by todays standards. Not that the games were bad, it's just that the controls schemes are archaic and many would have trouble reverting back to such an odd control scheme. Unless they use the Twin Snakes version of MGS, controlling those games is going to be a pain in the ass. ****ing awesome, especially with trophy support, but a pain in the ass to control.

I have no words for how awesome this would be. Isn't it odd that most ps2 remakes excite many more than current titles?

I think what would be way more of a bombshell is all three of those games remastered in HD + MGS4:'tagline' released all at once.

let this be true!!! Would be a GREAT addition for me since I have MGS4 but never really played the first one (SO MGS4 was easily my most difficult to understand game EVER :P)

Chances are that this is very real. After they had success with GoW, Pop & Sly and with Splinter Cell & SOTC/ICO on their way, why wouldn't Konami want one of their greatest franchise to get the same treament?

I will be very very surprised if this doesn't get confirmed soon.

I agree, MGS3 was perhaps my favorite games of all time.

wtf why is there still nothing about gta collection remake?
even a resident evil collection would do

i would love this; even if it were remakes or the twin snakes version of the original.   On that note (i may not be remembering correctly), but wasn't there a rumor some time last year that the original MGS was being remade and people were guessing that it would be for a psn release?  It would be awesome as part of a collection.
