Music Appreciation Thread

Music can transform ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences, and games are subject to this rule like anything else. For me, soundtracks can make or break games, especially when they are story-driven. Music somehow has the ability to reach out to our emotions in real-time, no post-processing by the brain is necessary. I just realized how much I appreciate what I am hearing, so I'm making a thread for it. What music are you currently appreciating? Right now, I'm enjoying various slow-paced "tribal" instrumentals while playing a game of AoE III on medium/easy settings. If you wanna hear what I hear, look up Tigris & Euphrates by Cusco. I created a Pandora station and I'm lovin' it :D EDIT: Type of music I am currently appreciating:

This is the $#!+ I listen to when I'm driving at 5am before the sun has come up and I'm going on a long car trip. Music is a massive part of my life, gaming is great to kill time but if I had to chose one fr the rest of my life, it would be music for sure. I'm getting some new beefcake speakers tomorrow so I'll be cranking all day long. I never seem to take the time I should these days.
I prefer to think of nihilism as extremely selective optimism. There's nothing wrong with having standards.

I likes music :D Been listening to electronica lately. (Water of Nazareth etc etc) But otherwise, i usually stick to Rock and it's cousins. Electronica helps me stay focused and not stray off while studying/doing hw. I don't like lyrics when I need to study

I made this thread on a Monday morning, it kinda drifted by the wayside. I thought the idea had potential, sooooooo -BUMP- I've got some Gorillaz playing(Clint Eastwood) to a game of chess right this moment.

@Zimmerman You included the hyper link. You have to get rid of the hyperlink. Highlight it, and then click the broken paperclip at the top right of the edit bar of this post box. Also currently appreciating this, because I want to go back in time 4 years ago, and this is the closest I can come to doing that.

Thanks, I got it fixed with your help. You guys have some predictable tastes for the most part lol XD I can't usually listen to a song with lyrics unless it speaks to me in a meaningful way. Instrumentals seem to have more "raw" emotion, undirected by lyrics.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of King Crimson, they are an older band from the 60s and 70s that was one of the first to start experimenting with progressive time signatures, they've actually influenced a lot of bands today like Tool. Just listen to this song and tell me it doesn't sound like Schism.
