EA and Ubisoft Suck

not really the companies but their online servers............i have played a lot of online games like cod warhawk and homefront and i never have a problem unless its an EA game or ubisoft game....they have a ton of money u think they would be able to afford better servers but that is not the case...they have crappy servers.

I always have problems with EA on PC, Ubisoft just make buggy games anyway so whatever about them...Edit--Actually never mind, I can only comment on BF game for PC, I can never get them to work properly, always some BS with BF2 that stops me from playing. Same problem with the Free to play 1

only ea games i play online are their fps games and i never have any problem with it my internet is only 1.5mbps when i had a ps3 all the sports games would lag online,played hawx online that worked fine for me but i haven't played many ubisoft games online except for rainbow six vegas and that worked fine

On PC Ubisoft has the worst servers, with the exception of Splinter cell: Conviction which worked flawlessly. Stick to consoles when playing Ubisoft games, although even the console versions of Rainbow Six vegas 1 & 2 had some huge lag issues. EA has a huge lag problem with their servers also, but then again, they can't even seem to get their own website to work properly. People can hate on CoD and Activision all they want, but for the most part I find the hit detection in CoD games to be the most accurate of any game series out there. Even Black Ops, which was the CoD game with the worst hit detection managed to be more accurate then both BC1 and BC2.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood online works really well for me so I don't know about Ubi, but EA generally is just ****ty, not sure why people are all the sudden singing a different tune with BF3. It's more of the same **** now.

Hmmm...though I'm happy that there is another person who finds Black Ops as having the "worst hit detection system", I must say I disagree about BC2 having less accuracy than Black Ops.  I think the reason why it is so is because BC2 employ a little bit of bullet drop.

i always have a problem with their games..............yet never had one damn problem with warhawk or the call of duty games.

Ubisoft tend to make exceptionally fun and entertaining games and then proceed to say "hey, lets see how much we can **** the end product up with DRM and crappy servers."

I just don't buy Ubisoft games anymore because I will not tolerate it.

Ubisoft are pretty transparent, not many of their games lately have been, well, fun...


Even with AC2, they couldn't fix repetitiveness once you beat the story mode, no real replay value.

I've found SinsCreed series, TrackMania2, and Conviction to be fun.

If/When they remove their DRM, I'll probably buy FromDust and the new Driver game.

... and those guys are good at postIt wars, so they're good in my books.


As for their servers... meh, can't say I've ever had any major issues. BC2 was pretty aweful at launch, but that's about the only bad experience I can remember.
