Hey Zero,  I was just looking at more gameplay of the game called Prototype, and I just come to the conclusion that they should have just used Carnage from the Marvel universe instead.   He's so much cooler looking, and more viceral. He makes the main character from Prototype look like a scrub.

I dont why your so interested in this game, but honestly, I think that I would rather put money towards Forced Unleashed than Prototype. The game just looks so bland, and boring,, should I not pay attention to gametrailers.com when it comes to judging games? 

p.s.  Sorry Gambus, no hate mail for you today,,  I almost always totally agree with you when it comes to game choices and feeling towards consoles and everything in gaming in general.  Your like an older version of me,,  Im just better looking.

I don't think you should trust anything but your gut when it comes to what games excite you.  The reason I am so pumped for Prototype is because they guys that made it made the last Hulk game which was amazingly fun.  I love those type of games and Prototype looks to take it to the next level.  Now granted I am more looking forward to Force Unleashed, but I just felt (in the last episode) that Prototype has more of a chance of being a sleeper hit because it is sort of flying under the radar.

I'm with you Zero. I am also excited for Prototype, but when I heard that it was made by the same people that made Hulk: Ultimate Destruction I became extremely excited for it. After seeing the demo video yesterday I can't wait to find out what other powers the main guy has.

Shame about Wolverine's mic but nevermind.
 
Whoa, my number one game is Final Fantasy 8. I think that will explain how I feel about Zero's choice!

They predicted an explosion of the internets upon release of this episode, we shall see.  Personally I meant nothing by it except it was the one franchise that I didn't really care about.  It wasn't that I didn't think it had influenced anything, it was my choice because I don't care if I ever play another one LOL

seriously KW why why didn't you do your "mission"

First I would like to say that I am glad that my questions strated some great conversation. Second I would like to know why it seems that the podcast memebrs seem to have problems with the MGO beta because I have been playing since the start and a number of my friends have as well. I wonder if it has something to do with your setups. Maybe its your routers? I'm not sure but it seems really weird that everyone is having a problem or maybe its because you all live in Ohio?
 
And I am wondering were is this voice lag that some of you are talking about on the PS3 because I have been playing alot of Multiplayer games and I alwase use and headset and I don't have any trouble with my teamates and friends when online.
 
Oh and killer wolverine man I am sorry about tagging you with the xbox fanboy tag but man if I was talking about my system like you do....I would be called a fanboy also!

I haven't listened to the podcast yet but had a question for you all.

With the recent information from developers saying they can do more on one console over the other, from a gamers perspective wouldn't you want them to develope more exclusive titles so the games we purchase are not being held back?

I understand from a company and money perspective about making a game multiplatform, but that model only benefits the company and not the gamer.

My fiance has a pure hatred for my Xbox 360. I'm waiting to come home one day and find my 360 in pieces on the floor and a sweaty, panting, menstruating woman standing over it holding a sledge hammer.

LOL yeah me and Wombat are married so we know the feeling, but we are lucky enough to have wives that understand our addiction (somewhat) and will allow us time to play our games.  Plus they play some games with us, for example my wife loves Guitar Hero and Rock Band so we play those together.

I'm a new listener here, all the way from sunny London - sorry I missed the countless previous pods but seeing as we now have GTA IV and all other games were rubbish in comparison, weren't they all pointless??? haha... well, some would believe so with the GTA loving that's going on!!! Great pod this week, got me threw an afternoon polishing my room, having a break from GTA after a few hours...

Right - Gambus, so far I have nothing to complain about. I am quite under the spell of your superbly timed pauses during sentences. I reckon the pod may be half the length without them, to be fair and this would be a bad thing...

My questions - GTA based, seeing as this pod is going to be mainly based on Rockstars latest stroke of genius...

1) Have any of you noticed any film references?? Apart from the obvious...

2) You reckon there'll be any DLC for the fuzzy channels on you telly in the safe house?? I haven't got any further, his new place will probably have digital and loads more...

3) How do you find the driving?? It's hard at first, abit slower and more realistic. Reminds me of the old London-based game 'The Getaway'... ps. What happened to the new one of those?

4) Do you think Michelle is fit/hot/tasty/reem/any word you wanna use? I like her hair. My real misses was not pleased I had virtual dates. I've promised to take her bowling soon...! But, for the record, I do put her before gaming. I'm an old fashioned romantic and if this means I'm not a hardcore gamer then so be it.
