I bought the game today. Graphics: They are very good. Not lifelike but cartoonish which is the whole point. The city itself including buildings, vehicles, people, enemies are all well detailed. The Hulk looks great. Perfect size in relation to people and enemies some of whom are much larger. Almost everything can be destroyed and everything looks good being demolished. Characters look as they do in the movie trailers. Spot on. Controls: The controls work well. Targeting is decent. It would have to be in this game. I haven't found a way to make him run yet. I'm not sure if he does. You can punch (two varieties) grab, throw, smash and jump. Story: I haven't gotten very far in the game but I imagine it is your standard Hulk type of script. Sound: The actors from the movie lend their voice talent to the game. The environmental sounds are good, Smash, boom, bang. Rinse and repeat with pedestrians screaming and reacting to the mayhem. The odd Hulk grunt mixed in. Overall: If your looking for puzzle solving or shooting obviously this game is not for you. If you like causing absolute chaos and smashing your way through a city. This is the game to buy. Nothing as refreshing as picking up a city bus and tossing it around. This game is what Spiderman 3 should have been.

Is it sandbox like Spiderman 2/3 were or is it linear with "tear up the city for 5 minutes" kind of missions?

It's sandbox and you enter a mission by going to the marker when you want to. There are also Hulk upgrades when you kill 50 soldiers, destroy 10 cars (early on). There are also 100 (I believe) cannisters to find that increases The Hulks rage. The more damage you do the tougher the army gets (so far).

Sounds good and I have been waiting on the GT review before I decide. Do me a favor if you can bro. PM me in like a week and tell me how replay is? I would hate to beat it and have it sit on my shelf like Assasins creed, Lair or condemned among so many other games I found decent but with no replay

Fair enough. When you get tired of the games you have, give this one a rent. The only flaw I have seen so far is frequent load screens. They may only be around 5 secinds but they happen a lot. 5GB installs are better than this.

I would hate for someone to blow $60 based on what I said and have the game sitting on their shelf. IMHO either rent it and see if you like it or wait for reviews. Weird that there are no reviews and the game is out already.

so what your saying is, it isn't realistic. Which sucks, cuz real Hulks can run and don't need canasters. *pun intended, you know what I'm talking about * sounds good, I'll check out some videos and what not, is there a demo on the PSN?

That comment is like using a Ouija board. It may conjur up the unwanted. I didn't see a Demo in the store a few days ago or here: http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Store#tab=gamedemos&p=1 The transition from Bruce to the Hulk is really good.Kind of like when my wife opens my Mastercard bill.

Haha, I remember, quite a while ago actually, a few of my friends told me they were going to use a Ouija board, and the night after they did, they were all convinced they actually met ghosts and stuff and were all crapping themselves. They sounded like they were insane, it was so hilarious, taking the piss out of them for it. What a bunch of idiots As for the demo, I don't think there is one. If there was an Iron Man demo though, there better be one of this game.

ORIGINAL: grantps3 i have givin up on movie games the only good one was the original spiderman I actually thought that the PS2 Spiderman movie game (the first one) was quite good. It wasn't too faithful to the movie, besides the first level, and the last one, and the other levels were all really good. The web-swinging didn't really make sense (Spidey would shoot his web into the air to swing) but it was much easier and more enjoyable to do than in Spiderman 2, to be honest.

ORIGINAL: grantps3 i have givin up on movie games the only good one was the original spiderman movie games are hard to do, they have to recreate somting that was already done. IMO it can't be done perfectly to mirror the movie, I mean they're 2 different types of media. It can come close, and mabye be a great stand alone game as if the Hulk never existed until video games. Sometimes I feel like they are rushed to just get it out there as a packaged deal with the movie, Transformers and Jumper comes to mind. So movies to games are not always great, but games to movies (Resident Evil, Hitman) seem to do just fine because they don't seem so constricted to what they can do.

Yeah, I agree, but it must be pretty hard to get Spiderman's controls to work well anyway... I'm sure someone can get it right eventually, but it definitely won't be the current developers. Shame they have the rights to the franchise...

The game is fantastic. I just gained the ability to sprint and now when I start punching a building. I can take a piece of concrete and use it as a shield and perform combo smashes with it. I'm having a blast!
