MGS4 Spoiler Free Impressions

The game is out...i don't have it and won't have it for another 12hrs but i am very very excited. Here you can posts your impressions on things like cut scenes, gameplay, graphics, the works basically. In your impressions, also state if this is your first MGS or if you have played MGS before and loved/hated it. This thread must be kept spoiler free at all costs. If you say something that you aren't too sure is a spoiler, spoiler tag it anyway just for fun. You can spoiler tag using white text color like so so you can highlight with your mouse if you want to read. Alright now tell us how MGS4 rocked your world

I finished Act 1 in 4 hours last night. Honestly, not much in Act 1 really suprised me.
All of the trailers you saw before the release of the game pretty much sums it up. I love the gameplay and everything but the cutscenes were things I had already saw.
But whatever you do, do not skip the cutscenes. Even though they're some that you've seen before, there's a lot of neat tidbits to do within them.

Lets see, first off, the opening into was, how should I say WTF!!!! You just know that your in for a crazy and messed up ride. The sound is completly un-freaking-belivable, i could swear that I was watching Saving Private Ryan in a giant multi-plex(the bass hits hard, loved it)!!! MGS4 just might be game of the year, the line between game and cinama has become even more blured.... and im only one 1 hour into it..... well back to playing!!! :)

If you are new to MGS, please say so in your post. I won't fvkin lie the cut scenes were long. But i dare not skip them. They weren't that long but not exactly the best way to start a game. Visuals are brilliant. Only fault so far is the lip sync falls below next gen standard imo. Voice acting is top notch but hsword and uncharted had better lip sync As for the gameplay...so much for all out action, it doesn't work for me. I am sneaking thru all the way. PS. The ipod is WONDERFUL. I could rate the game a 10 on the ipod alone

I had just finished it. And now im watching the credits. I thought it was a pretty good game one of the best out of the series. I loved the last boss fight thought it was really badass. It was worth the wait and not reading any spoliers.

Supressors don't last forever. After a while they lose effectiveness. It was the same in MGS3
