Hot Shots (not the movie)

So the Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds demo on PSN is the first Hot Shots game I ever tried. I gotta say it's kinda fun. Not God of War fun, more of a relaxing kind of fun. The GF loves it too, so that's always a plus. What does N4G think of these games? Are they any good? Is there much value in the package?

Always loved the Hot Shots golf games that came out. Me and my cousins would take turns playing it back in the day and it was always a hoot. I havent had the chance to pick this one up yet, tooo many games left for me to beat and I'm trying to decrease my back catalogue (but not succeeding..damn you Amazon.com)
Still, I was hoping it was about the movie...I loved that movie, along with Part Deux. Just..fantastic.

I'm a big fan of the series as well. I started with the second one on the PS1 and recently bought one for the PSP. It's a great pick-up and play game that is really enjoyable. I'm usually not into games like that one, but I take it everywhere my PSP goes.

no actually i havent tried THIS demo, since im still **** outta luck on the TV.. until tomorrow, but i think there was a demo for the last one and yeah, its like Tiger Woods but in a fun/arcade like manner, like drunk golfin with your friends on a ****ty course fun

i was in the same boat as you and after the demo i was hooked. i downloaded the demo off the EU store months ago and bought the game day one. it's a really fun and relaxing game. the online mode is also very fun and you get to unlock tons of outfits for your online avatars. i still have to unlock a bunch of golfers though. there's downloadable content coming all the time, like characters and a just released new course. here's my review of the game: http://www.n4g.com/reviews/PS3/UReview-125802.aspx i'm new to the franchise but i'm hooked for future games.

Hot Shots Golf has always been awesome. The PSP version is one of the best in the series. Great franchise all around
