It would make it a lot cleaner looking on the screen. Or does the ps3 already have this feature and I am just not aware of it?

yeah, but if they took off the options we couldnt use in-game, i would have this feeling as if they were taking something away from me...like I'm "missing out" on stuff. but i would probably get use to it. so not a big deal if they actually decide to do that..

I think the XMB and In game XMB should represent the same XMB, whereas making it look like two different XMBs.
