I've never owned or played Soul Calibur. Should I go and buy this when I finish work today and if I do will Gambus Khan bring the pain? This pod is making me WANT.

Thanks dude. One more thing, the create a character option.... Do they begin with lots of power or do you have to build them up??

I don't know really, I haven't tried creating my characters yet. There are a lot of unlockable accessories and items though.

Last week everyone was talking about PixelJunk Eden and Elefunk and Wombat, Boogeyman and Wolverine all played The Show this week.  Wombat also played Warhawk last week so how is that not giving it love?

That is because I don't have anything I want to play on it right now.  I buy all multi-platform games on 360 because that is where my friends are playing and I love Achievements.

Blu-Ray is not that much of a difference to be honest and I cannot justify paying 30 bucks a movie when DVD usually costs me 5-10 bucks.

Blu-Ray is so much cheaper in America it's 20 pounds in England (40 bucks) DvDs 10 pounds (20 bucks)
Ps3 games 40 pounds-50 pounds (80 bucks-100 bucks)

Hey Wombat, I see you did borrow the Soul Calibur on the PS3 (I was spying on my Friend List)... What did you think and shall we have a battle? I'd like an N4G tournamnet - PS3 only though.

 
I love it, it's fantasic....definitely did not dissappoint.  I'd love to play a couple rounds online with folks.....just shoot me a message if you see me on playing it this week. 
 
I'm going to be getting the 360 version for myself, just because (like ZT) that's where most of my friends are (although I hate the 360's D-pad and I haven't got an arcade stick yet this gen)...but I'll have the PS3 version all this week.
 
As far as the quickly jumping online and then back off, I'm actually guilty of that on both 360 and PS3....usually when I do that it's because I don't have time to play anything but I want to check my messages.
