it's kind of sad really, originally I wasent going to buy the game at all because I already have enough plastic crap laying around my place.
Then they had to go and announce that Daft Punk was in the game and now I really want the renegade edition.
Only problem is that i'm still boycotting activision over all this MW2 garbage so we will see how long I can hold out.

The song list looks pretty good. Better than the songs on the other hero discs.
Oh trust me the moment they start making sequels for this game the track list will start to get weaker and weaker. Activision needs to make the first entry to a different style of music game be something that would force people to buy the peripherals. The moment they are able to cash in they'll put the good songs as DLC. :)

OK, this game is sick and slick!! I bought the Renegade edition and it does not disappoint. This thing is solid and where people were complaining about the cross fade not having a click for the middle....it does now. Mine does anyways.
The music is really good and you will be bee boppin all over the place. Give it a try before you judge. I am very happy on the quality of this game and equipment.

Ignorance is bliss...
It's a peripheral-based game. Of course it's overpriced. This is the kind of game that should really be in the arcade, only arcades have fallen out of favour. It's no different from buying a console just to play 1 game, or buying those GunCons for the PS3 when only 1 game supports them. Or buying a really expensive racing wheel when you only play Gran Turismo. I personally think it's a waste of money, but then I'm not really into these type of games. I think they're very basic and effectively all follow the same formula (hit buttons in time).

Whilst I agree it is expensive, I do not believe in ignoring review scores. I don't take advice from exclusively one review, rather an average (such as metacritic) which gathers several opinions.
