Uncharted2 or Demon's Souls ? - Wednesday, October 14, 2009 2:33 AM
Well, I got my Uncharted 2 this afternoon around 1 pm. But, I haven't even open the game yet. My brother also got uncharted 2 and he kept calling me and telling me to play 'coz he really loved it.

Guess what I am doing, playing Demon's Souls. I am so immersed into Demon's Souls and I am about 30% done on my first playthrough. Seems like I won't be touching uncharted2 until I get my Platinum.  This game really got me. I didn't even know the game exist until 2 weeks before game released. I thought to myself what a nice suprise.

Oh, bought Operation Flashpoint2 through steam, So far I have played about 15 mins just to check graphic and stuff.

Uncharted 2 is a new gaming experience. People will remember years from now when they played Uncharted 2. The game is just amazing. It really feels like a fun movie. The gameplay is great, the graphics are impossible. I'd say its a bit more of a unique experience than Demon Souls will be, and for that, you should give it a try. Its a product that the developer put a ton of effort and skill into it and its a showpiece for the Playstation3 & a new bar for the gaming industry and thats very rare.

I got OFP. So far... not really liking it. The graphics are way behind Arma2, and the gameplay feels pretty routine. Put a few hours into it, just hoping that the online is better than the SP. The Sp is severely lacking imo.

One of the reason, I am putting off to play uncharted2 is, What if I like uncharted2 better and immerse in multiplayer more than Demon's souls ? I did play beta multiplayer and looks like it is easy to get immersed with uncharted 2 multiplayer.

Demon's Souls is such a challenging game that I have played since contra but I love the challenge that this game offer and I am gonna prove that I am still hardcore gamer and I am gonna get platinum. But, it really hurts to see uncharted sitting in wrap.

Uncharted 2 is a new gaming experience.

No its not. Its the same as Uncharted 1 but executed in a better way. They made movies and games get closer to each other, the total experience gets better and a MP is added, one that takes the best stuff from COD4, KZ2 and 'horde mode' from Gears 2.

Originality in my book is above 'the best games'. But to each his own. Brutal Legend and Demons Souls might get my attention a lot. Then again I'm buying Uncharted 2 the day its out (2 days to go) and this weekend is booked for both BL as U2!

I played Demon Souls until U2 came out, now I'm going through U2 single player.  When I'm done with that, I'll go back to Demon Souls.  U2 multiplayer can wait.

i'm hooked on demon souls too dude! i got UC2 yesterday but haven't opened it yet.......and it's not that i don't want to but DS has got a hold of me like no game has in a long time. i've been waiting for FROM to do another game like this since the kingsfield series and they haven't disappointed.
i can only hope there will be a  DS sequel!!! i will be starting UC2 in the next few days but right now i'm too busy dealing out long-range death with my +3 compound bow!

and i agree UC2 will be sooooooooo amazing. this is why i haven't started yet. i know i won't be back on DS for at least a week while i slowly soak in everything UC2 SP has to offer........ then back to DS as i'm not a  big MP guy.
