Thinking about getting a Motorola Droid...

i know i know next to nothing about it (except for that badass commercial) but i was sold on it being an Android phone on Verizon. But does anyone know what the monthly fee will be? I currently have a family plan but i want to know if their will be any additional fees like you need to get with a blacberry. if anyone could help me out that would be great.

There is a Data Plan fee associated with any smartphone from VZW. I have the unlimited plan that allows for unlimited use of the 3G data network. This costs me an extra $30 per month. but it is $30 well spent.

I have a G1 with t-mobile and the unlimited data plan with them is also $30 a month.
