Considering how you can pick it up for less than $30 now, and frankly you can clock easily over 200 hours in the game, I say go for it.
The battle system is REALLY different, but honestly I think it works well, and if you use the gambits sparingly, its a lot funner then people give it credit for. The story is lacking admittingly, but the visuals are top notch and there's tons of things to do, not to mention the scale of enemies you can find, I think it was just amazing.
