hmm havent ordered from the store in awhile. never asked me before. maybe its a new feature or something. type your password in. it isnt like anyone hacked your ps3 or anything lol. try it if you are going on directly from your ps3 to game store. you are pretty secure.

Maybe they are adding a new layer of security on PSN. Is there a setting under account management that makes the store ask for your password before purchase (so maybe kids don't go buying a ton of stuff)? You had to create a password just to sign into the PSN...

There should be a recover password option somewhere that mails the password to that address.

You can disable it, but not if you don't have your password. You had to of made a password when creating your account. Recover your password...
